The incumbent minimally requires one of the following: certified as a First Responder by the Commonwealth of PA, registered by The American Red Cross as an Emergency Responder, hold a FACTS card from the American Heart Association or have successfully completed an equivalent course of study. The incumbent must have completed a CPR course, meeting the Emergency Cardiac Care Committee Nation Conference on CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care standards. The incumbent must hold a valid CPR card.
