Secretary of Health Dr. Bogen Visits Region

Secretary of Health Dr. Debra Bogen visited EmergyCare in Erie today to highlight new equipment upgrades that are helping to improve patient care during the more than 2.2 million emergency calls they handle each year, while also keeping EMS professionals safe. Governor Josh Shapiro’s proposed 2026–27 budget includes an additional $6 million from the EMS Operating Fund to help EMS teams enhance care, improve patient outcomes, and support efforts to recruit and retain EMS professionals.
